Visual Designer

JAZ visual communications is leading the evolution in delivering design-based communication solutions for our clients - using all available forms of visual media such as print, web and digital technology.

We’re looking for an energetic, confident and passionate visual designer to join our team. You will be required to turn your hand to both web and print design, with a focus on the web.  Reporting directly to the Communications Lead you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of your jobs including dealing directly with clients, designing and coordinating production.

You:

• Have the versatility to work on wide array of clients and jobs and are willing to learn and develop your skills.
• Enjoy talking to clients direct and managing your own projects.
• Have a desire to take on responsibility.
• Value systems and planning.
• Know and understand how to design for the web.
• Love colour management and find grids both beautiful and breakable.
• Be a designer with a minimum of 3 years commercial design experience and be technically competent.
• Have an expert proficiency in the tools of your trade: In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Fireworks are essential; Flash skills highly regarded.

Our special designer will be able to think outside the square, be practical with a creative flair and of course be passionate!  There is an attractive salary package for the right person of $55-60k plus super.
